Starting her practice in January 2018, Sam Urquhart came to yoga as a way of recovering from a series of operations. Through yoga, she has been able to find a sense of stillness, peace and strength. She now enjoys  sharing the joy yoga has brought her, and the understanding she has gained that nothing is perfect. 

Sam qualified as a 200hr teacher in 2020 and recently completed a teacher training course for Nidra Restore. She enjoys teaching restorative yoga followed by a nidra as it provides a true opportunity to rest, de-stress, and be held in a supportive environment. For many of us, the meditative element of yoga can be harder than the physical. But being able to clear your mind can open up a new awareness, and with it a new perspective. Sam aims to bring this to her classes.
